Wordmeister
Build crossword words on the board and outscore the computer.
How to play Wordmeister
Tap a letter tile on your rack, then tap an empty board square to place it; build a word left-to-right or top-to-bottom. Your first word must cross the center star, and every later word must connect to tiles already on the board. Press Play word to score — premium squares multiply letters (DL, TL) or whole words (DW, TW), and using all seven tiles earns a bonus. The computer replies with its own word; when the bag is empty and a rack runs out, the higher score wins.

Wordmeister — frequently asked questions
How do I take a tile back?
Tap a tile you just placed (before pressing Play word) to return it to your rack, or press Escape to recall them all. Then you can rearrange your move.
Are two-letter words allowed?
Yes. Every valid two-letter word is in the dictionary, which matters a lot when squeezing tiles next to existing words — all the cross-words you form must be valid too.
What do the shaded squares mean?
DL and TL double or triple that letter’s value; DW and TW double or triple the whole word’s score. The center star acts as a double-word square on the opening move.
What if I cannot move?
Use the Pass button to swap your rack for new tiles (or simply pass if the bag is empty). If both players pass twice in a row, the game ends and the higher score wins.
