How to play Baker's Dozen

All 52 cards are dealt face-up into thirteen columns of four, and every King is slid to the bottom of its column so it never blocks a smaller card. Tap a column's bottom card to send it straight to a foundation, or tap it and then tap another column to move it. Foundations build upward from Ace to King in the same suit, while the tableau builds downward by rank in any suit — but only one card moves at a time and empty columns stay empty, they cannot be refilled. Clear all four foundations up to the King to win.

Baker's Dozen — frequently asked questions

Why are the Kings at the bottom of each column?

Because a King can never be placed on another card in the tableau, Baker's Dozen buries every King beneath its column at the deal so it will not permanently trap the cards under it. You still have to unload the cards above each King to free it.

Can I fill an empty column?

No. Once a column is emptied it stays empty for the rest of the game — that is what makes Baker's Dozen a tight, planning-heavy patience. Space to manoeuvre comes only from the columns and the foundations.

How is the score calculated?

Your score is the number of cards you have moved to the foundations, up to 52. Reaching 52 completes all four foundations and wins the game, and your best score is saved. Not every deal is solvable.

Is Baker's Dozen free to play?

Yes — Baker's Dozen is completely free on Inkplay, with no download, no sign-up, and no in-game purchases. Open the page and play instantly on desktop or mobile.

Can I play Baker's Dozen unblocked?

Yes. Baker's Dozen runs entirely in your browser with no download, install, or plugins, so it loads instantly and keeps working even on school or work networks where bigger game sites get blocked.
