How to play Pentago
On your turn, place one marble on any empty cell, then rotate one of the four 3×3 quadrants a quarter-turn left or right. Make five of your marbles in a row — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — to win. The twist is the catch: every rotation reshapes the board, so plan moves that survive the spin.

Pentago — frequently asked questions
Do I have to rotate every turn?
Yes — placing a marble and then twisting one quadrant is a single, required move.
What if both get five after a twist?
If a rotation creates five-in-a-row for both players at once, the game is a draw.
