Boss Blitz
Five living ink bosses, a thousand bullets, one bright little wisp: dodge, dash, and take them all down.
How to play Boss Blitz
Boss Blitz is a boss rush: no levels, no filler. Just five giant living ink blobs, one after another, each with its own personality and bullet patterns. You are a small glowing wisp with free flight in every direction, and your shots fire on their own at the nearest threat, so all of your attention goes where it belongs: dodging.
- Fly. Use WASD or the arrow keys, or drag on touch screens for a floating joystick. You are faster than every bullet in the game.
- Dash. Press Shift or Space (double-tap a direction, or tap with a second finger on touch) to dash with a burst of invincibility. Use it to slip through rings and walls of ink.
- Read the telegraphs. A boss flashes before it fires, lobbed splats mark where they will land, charge attacks draw a warning line, and bullet curtains always leave a gap near you.
- Survive the phases. Every boss changes its attack pattern once or twice as its health drops. The arena is wiped clean of bullets at each change. You have five hearts and heal two between bosses.
Your run is timed, and every hit you take adds five seconds. Beat all five bosses for your best time, and try Easy or Hard for a gentler or meaner rush.

Boss Blitz: frequently asked questions
How do I dodge the bullets in Boss Blitz?
Your wisp flies faster than every bullet, so smooth movement beats panic. Circle around rings and spirals instead of backing straight away, watch for the flash before a boss fires, and save your dash (it grants brief invincibility) for the moments a pattern closes around you.
How many bosses are there and do they change?
There are five ink bosses, each with two or three phases. When a boss drops to a health threshold it explodes, wipes every bullet off the arena, and switches to a nastier pattern: rings, spirals, homing minions, charge attacks and bullet curtains all make an appearance.
What does my score mean?
Boss Blitz scores the whole run by time: the clock runs from the first boss to the last, and every hit you take adds a five-second penalty. Finish the rush and your final time is saved as your best: lower is better on the leaderboard.
