How to play Chrono Leap
Chrono Leap is a time-rewind puzzle-platformer: your one superpower is bending time. Move with the arrow keys or A/D, jump with ↑, W or Space, and reach the glowing flag at the end of each single-screen room. On a phone, use the on-screen move, jump and ↺ buttons. The magic is the rewind: press and hold Shift or R (or the ↺ button) and the entire world reels backwards along a recorded timeline. You, the moving platforms and the patrolling foes all replay in reverse. Let go and time flows forward again from wherever you rewound to. Use it constantly: undo a fatal fall or a mistimed jump, ride a platform back up to a ledge you dropped from, or reverse a foe's march to slip past. Foes hurt on contact, so squash them by landing on top, but remember a rewind revives them, because they are not immune to time. That is the heart of the puzzles: a few objects glow a special chrono colour and are immune to rewind. A chrono key stays gathered and a chrono lever stays thrown even as you reel time backwards. So you can reach a one-way spot, grab the chrono key, then rewind your body back to safety with the key still in hand; an ordinary gold key would simply slip away. Ten rooms teach one idea at a time (move, rewind, ride, the chrono key, foes, the chrono lever), then the finale combines them all. Your score is the number of rooms you clear, and your best run is saved to the leaderboard.

How does rewinding time work in Chrono Leap?
Hold Shift or R (or the on-screen ↺ button) and the whole room replays backwards from a recorded timeline: your character, the moving platforms and the foes all reverse together. Release the key and time resumes forward from that point. There is no death screen: if you fall on spikes or into a pit, just hold rewind to undo it and try again.
What are the glowing chrono keys and levers?
They are the puzzle twist. Objects that glow the special chrono colour are immune to rewind, so their state persists: a chrono key stays gathered and a chrono lever stays flipped even after you reel time all the way back. That lets you reach a one-way ledge, grab the chrono key or throw the lever, then rewind yourself back to safety while keeping that progress, something an ordinary key, which un-collects on rewind, could never do.
How do I clear a room and beat the game?
Reach the flag at the end of each room. If a room has keys, you must gather them all first to arm the flag (the counter at the top shows your progress). Foes are squashed by landing on them, spikes and pits are lethal but undoable with rewind, and gates open when their key or lever is triggered. Clear all ten escalating rooms to master time. Your score is the number of rooms cleared.
Is Chrono Leap free, and does it work on mobile?
