How to play Hidato
The grid must contain every number from 1 up to N exactly once, arranged so that each number sits next to the following one — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. A handful of numbers are given to start you off. Click a cell, then type its number (or use the on-screen keys); press Backspace to clear. You win the moment 1 through N form one unbroken chain. Faster solves score better.

Do diagonal moves count?
Yes — consecutive numbers may be neighbours in any of the eight directions, including the four diagonals, just like a king moves in chess.
Can I change a number I have entered?
Yes. Click the cell and type a new number, or press Backspace to empty it. Only the given clues are fixed; every other cell is yours to fill.
