Realm Keeper

Build a village, grow your realm, and hold the keep against the night raiders.

How to play Realm Keeper

🏠🌾🏹🏰👺🐺🐉
Swipe (or use the arrows) to move

You are the keeper of a small realm, and your job is to grow it by day and defend it by night. On the grass plot you place buildings: tap or click a build card at the bottom (or press 16), then tap a tile to build it. Everything costs resources: Houses 🏠 raise your population cap, Farms 🌾 make food, Lumber Camps 🪓 make wood, and Mines ⛏️ make gold and stone. Your farms, lumber camps and mines each need a settler 👥 to run, and your population grows toward its housing cap every dawn as long as you have food to feed everyone. Let food run out and a settler starves, so keep farms ahead of your growth. When you are ready, press Begin Night (or just wait for dusk) and raiders pour in from the edges of the map, marching straight for your Keep 🏰. Ring the keep with Walls 🧱 to slow them and line up Watchtowers 🏹 to auto-fire arrows. Slain raiders even drop a little gold. Survive the night and a new day dawns with a fresh harvest; the waves grow bigger and tougher every night, with a dragon 🐉 crashing in on later ones. The run ends the moment your keep is destroyed, and your score is the number of days you survived. Climb the leaderboard by lasting as long as you can.

Realm Keeper: frequently asked questions

How do I build in Realm Keeper?

Tap or click a build card at the bottom of the screen (or press number keys 1–6) to select a building, then tap an empty tile on the grass plot to place it. Each building costs resources (wood, food, gold or stone), shown right on its card, and you can build during the day or in the thick of a night raid as long as you can afford it.

How do resources and population work?

Farms make food, lumber camps make wood, and mines make gold and stone, but each of those needs a settler to run, so your population is your workforce. Population grows toward your housing cap (raised by Houses) at every dawn, as long as you have food stored to feed everyone. If food runs out, a settler starves, so build farms and houses together to grow safely.

How do the night raids work, and how do I lose?

Each night, raiders spawn from the edges of the map and march straight for your Keep, attacking any building in their path. Watchtowers automatically fire arrows at the nearest threat and Walls block and soak damage, so a walled keep ringed by towers is the classic defense. The waves get larger and stronger every night (with a boss dragon on later ones) and the run ends the instant your Keep is destroyed.

Is Realm Keeper free and does it work on mobile?

Yes. It runs free in your browser with no download or sign-up, and the tap-a-card-then-tap-a-tile controls are built for touch as well as mouse. Your best number of days survived is saved on your device and posted to the leaderboard.

Is Realm Keeper free to play?

Yes. Realm Keeper is completely free on Inkplay, with no download, no sign-up, and no in-game purchases. Open the page and play instantly on desktop or mobile.

Can I play Realm Keeper unblocked?

Yes. Realm Keeper runs entirely in your browser with no download, install, or plugins, so it loads instantly and keeps working even on school or work networks where bigger game sites get blocked.
